My wife and I went here before going to Neptune Theater one night.
Rank #8 of 22
All we can say is that whilst the food was quite delicious, there was nowhere near enough of it for the prices we paid.
I ordered a crispy fish something or other, obviously cant remember the name, but it was haddock rolled in nacho chips, and served on garlic mashed potatoes (my choice since I'm not a fan of what it came with originally.
Well the fish WAS quite tasty and a decent size IMO, but in my wifes opinion it was rather small considering the price of 27$.
I was astonished when the mashed potatoes wasn't even a servings worth, I've worked in 4 kitchens and never seen such a miserly portion in my life. I swear to god it was a single scoop of potatoes (large single scoop) but it wasn't enough by a long shot for a serving.
The side was some veggies, whilst I don't like veggies, I was expecting more then 10 assorted pieces...
I forget what she ordered, fish of some kind, but it was also not enough to fill her, and she eats like a humming bird!!!
The dessert we shared was a Creme Brule, which was absolutely delicious but a tad small for 9$, the ginger cake with lemon glaze which I had was bigger and could almost be accepted at the 7$ price. I would have liked alot more lemon glaze (personal preference).
Over all our bill came to 76$ and we both left still feeling like we could eat atleast another meal of the same portions, or that maybe we should have gone elsewhere( MCD's for 1/5th the price) and been better off.
All in all, the food was cooked well and certainly tasty, but nowheres near enough in quantity for the prices.
